Easton Bajsec

Hey there! I'm Easton Bajsec and I grew up in San Diego, dreaming of becoming a salon owner and stylist, practicing on all my neighborhood friends. I love the expression and self confidence clients feel after a service in my chair. I am grateful that this industry allows me to be so fulfilled while giving me flexibility of schedule.
I specialize in easy to wear, long lasting cut and color services as well as sugaring and reiki energy healing. I offer low to no toxin services and our business creates zero trash. That's right, ZERO!
When I'm not running Scisters Salon, you can find me gardening, loving on my 7 animals or reading. I love fiction and personal development books. My big adventures include camping in our Airstream and international travel with my husband and our two teens.
I am super conscious of my guests' time and do my best work in under two and a half hours. I have the ability to find each person's perfect style by understanding what they love about their hair, how much time they want to spend on it daily, and how frequently they'd like to visit the salon. I am known around the shop for my playfulness, sarcasm and quirky antics.

Melissa Parker

Hello lovely! I am Melissa. After my first heartbreak, I knew I wanted to become a hairdresser. I went to the salon for a makeover and left feeling transformed and beautiful in my skin, which sparked a desire to do that for others. To this day, it is still my favorite thing as a stylist, to watch a woman see herself as beautiful. As a wife and mama of two spirited girls, the flexibility that this industry offers is fundamental to our family rhythms. I adore business and have always dreamed of owning a salon, which is made even sweeter by partnering with my best friend.
Following a personal health journey, I discovered the importance of living as sustainably and toxin free as possible. I believe beauty and the products we use, should benefit our bodies, our environment and the planet. I specialize in creating a hairstyle that makes you feel most beautiful. I especially love blonding to create an organic beauty feel, and care deeply about the integrity of your hair. I’ve had a long love for energy work and it is my honor to provide Reiki.
As a San Diego native, it’s near impossible to name my favorite taco shop. I love them all. I come from a huge family that I hold close, have an obsession with plants and am grounded by nature. I spend time every day reading or listening to podcasts and would love to swap recommendations with you.
My strengths, listening and connection, aid in my ability to stay focused on your hair goals. My intention is for you to slow down, take a deep breath, and feel cared for.

Hey there! My name is Irelan and my goal is to make you feel comfortable and beautiful in your own skin.
I’m originally from Colorado and I moved to San Diego to follow my dream of doing hair. It has been the best decision I could have made! When I’m not behind the chair you can find me outside, reading a book at the park or enjoying the sun at the beach. I love exploring this city and enjoy hearing recommendations of your favorite things to do!
My love for hair came from my love of art, and I have so much fun creating on your unique canvas. I always enjoy creating a lived in look, but I especially love doing anything outside of the box, your wish is my command!
As a stylist, I truly value sustainability and connection. I understand that we are all on an individual journey, and I want to be there to help you find your special routine that benefits you, and our Mother Earth.

Christine Van Dorn

Born into the ever-moving life of a military family, I’ve lived coast to coast (and a few places in between), but San Diego has absolutely stolen my heart. As a military wife and lifelong adventurer, I bring a blend of resilience, adaptability, and creativity to everything I do.
At 13, I started dyeing my own hair and trying out different styles on my friends. That early curiosity turned into a deep creative pull, as I realized that creating is what fuels me, and that hair is one of the best canvases.
I’m especially drawn to vivid color work, where my inner artist thrives. I’ve developed a love for layered, textured haircuts that bring movement and personality. My style leans toward lived-in, edgy, bold, and expressive.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m outside with my family or deep in another hands-on project. I’m always chasing that next skill, challenge, or spark of inspiration.
I’m thrilled to be surrounded by intentional, creative energy and a community that supports growth and authenticity. Let’s make something unforgettable together. Your hair should tell your story, not whisper it.
Mary Cady

Greetings Gorgeous~
My name is Mary, and I always joke that hair found me I didn’t find it. I grew up in Orange County and my first job in high school was a receptionist at a salon. All the stylists tried to convince me to get into the field and my friends always loved the hair and makeup I did for myself for dances, so they would always ask me to do theirs. This became a fast track to learning about time management at a young age. After fighting what people saw for me I finally visited a friend in school and felt like it all clicked and I “found my people.” It was then that I accepted that the craft was calling to me and I needed to follow. I have been licensed since 2014.
I also grew up chronically ill which lead me down a path of healing mind, body, and spirit. I found functional medicine, became a yoga instructor, and a reiki master. I have been teaching and doing attunements, trainings since 2021. During this time my body was able to heal and I since have moved to San Diego to pursue Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. I aspire to specialize in women’s hormones and fertility as well as cosmetic acupuncture. So naturally finding Scister’s felt like the biggest blessing and alignment for all my values. I love making women feel good inside and out!

Savanna Betterton

If we haven’t met yet, hi! My name is Savanna and I’m currently assisting Melissa + Easton at Scisters Salon in San Diego while beginning my journey behind the chair. I’m so excited to officially be part of the Scisters family and grow in a space that feels so welcoming, creative, and safe for both clients and employees alike. Being surrounded by people who truly care about self expression, wellness, and community has made me fall even more in love with this industry.
Growing up, I spent most of my time doing theater and dance, and honestly getting ready backstage was what first made me realize how much I loved hair, beauty, and helping people feel confident in themselves. There was something so special to me about watching someone transform the second they felt good about how they looked, and that feeling is what pushed me toward cosmetology and becoming a hairstylist.
When I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me at the beach, hanging out with friends, or listening to music somewhere in the sun I’ve always been a very creative person, and I love that this career allows me to connect with people while turning creativity into something meaningful every single day.
I truly love this industry so much already, and I’m incredibly grateful to be learning from such talented artists while building my confidence behind the chair. I can’t wait for the day I get to have you in my chair soon and create a space where you feel comfortable, seen, and beautiful inside and out.

My journey into skincare began with my own struggles with acne and sensitivity, which gives me a deep, personal understanding of how challenging skin concerns can be. That experience, combined with my professional training and hands-on expertise, allows me to create customized treatments that are both results-driven and gentle on your skin.
I’m passionate about helping you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. Whether you’re coming in for a facial or sugaring service, my goal is always to prioritize your needs, educate you along the way, and deliver an experience that feels as good as it looks.

Natalie Breault

Hi there! I’m Natalie, the receptionist here at Scisters. I am originally from Maine, and moved here for my partner’s job. I was so excited to find Scisters, as I studied holistic health in college and became very passionate about it. I also care deeply about sustainability, and am grateful to support our stylists in their work.
As someone eager to continue learning, I love how we share information and help our clients make small but meaningful changes to shift their habits into being more sustainable. I love working in such a collaborative and inclusive environment, with people who care about the environment as much as I do. You’ll find me here doing refills, making drinks, and restocking our apothecary!
When I’m not at Scisters, I’m hanging out with my partner, cooking, writing, or doing yoga. I also love reading, being with friends and family, and watching movies- especially documentaries and horror films.
